Behind the pack

The Story Behind the Process.

The silbatta is more than a traditional kitchen tool. It represents a hands-on way of preparing ingredients that has been part of many Indian kitchens. At Seelbatta, this tradition inspires the way we tell our product story.

Tradition, shown honestly

We believe the best way to explain a process is to show it. Explore the steps used to prepare Seelbatta Ginger Garlic Paste, from ingredient handling through preparation and packaging. We share this process to help customers understand what happens behind the product.

What you will see

Our process story may include ingredient preparation, the actual grinding or processing step, handling, packaging and product information. Each visual reflects the real production process rather than a staged version created only for marketing.

What a silbatta actually did

A silbatta is two stones: a flat slab and a roller worked across it by hand. Crushing on stone bruises and tears rather than slicing cleanly, which releases aromatics differently from a blade — and it is why food cooked this way tasted the way it did.

You cannot run a food business on two stones. But you can let that understanding shape what you are aiming for, and be straight with people about the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Is the paste actually ground on a silbatta?

The silbatta is the inspiration for the brand and its name, not a description of the production line. The paste is prepared under hygienic, controlled conditions. We would rather say that plainly than imply a method we do not use.

Why does the process page not show every stage?

We publish stages our operations team has reviewed and approved. Anything not yet signed off is left off the page rather than staged for a photograph.

Where do the ginger and garlic come from?

Sourcing details are being confirmed and will be published here once they are verified. Until then we would rather leave this blank than guess.
